For HD

Here ya go babe. Now you can see my new haircut. Here's one of me yesterday, and the rest are from halloween. Baylee just wouldn't keep her costume on for the ones with both of us :) I don't know if I look anymore pregnant than I did when you left but I'm pretty sure that I do. I love you!

Road Show Practice

Baylee and I have been in Medford, OR with Kay and Harvey since Tuesday. Last night Kay had a dress rehersal for the youth road show, (she's a young women leader) and Baylee and I tagged along. Baylee had a lot of fun playing with the other little kids that were there, and one in particular named Jesse called Baylee his friend and walked around with her most of the time. It was really cute. I didn't get a picture of it but Baylee also started walking around kicking the volleyball in front of her. She went in a straight line and everything. I was pretty impressed, plus it was really cute to see how focused she was on it. I met a lot of people from HD's ward who all said how much Baylee looks like HD. She was getting a lot of attention.

Baylee and Jason

When Baylee and I were at Kristin and Will's house last weekend, I took Baylee and Jason outside to play in the leaves. They seemed to have a lot of fun. It was really cute though.

Down the Stairs

So Baylee and I are staying at Kristin and Will's house for the next couple of days, and then we're going to Medford with Kay, we'll be in Camas with my parents for the weekend of Halloween, and then back down to Medford, back to Utah and then back up to Rexburg. We're doing this because HD is in Boise for a month, so being gone for two out of the 4 weeks that he's gone will make it less painful for me. He left here on Saturday and drove to Boise yesterday. The thing thats been the most difficult for me sofar is that Baylee wakes up every morning and goes "Daddy?" "Daddy?" It's very cute but sad at the same time. Anyways, I'm going to be posting a lot because HD wants to see what's going on while he's away, and this one is of Baylee going (slowly) down the stairs. She finally got it! It only took falling down the stairs once... :S

Pumpkin Carving

Last night Kristin, Mickie, Suzanne and I all carved our pumpkins, and we all ended up doing Disney ones. This one is Suzannes. It's Mickie mouse. It's still not done though because she's going to get two baby pumpkins and stick them to his head for ears. This one's mine. I decided to do goofy, but the pattern that I found on line was a whole lot of outlines so I had to dumb it down a little :)

Mickie did Sleeping Beauty's castle. She had a hard time gutting the pumpkin though because hers was really stringy inside and when she'd pull on the "guts" to get them out more would come out than she wanted.

Kristin did Tigger. Her's took a LONG time becuase it was almost all outlines that she had to cut out.

Jason has a little rocking chair that Baylee has been trying to get into by herself and she finally got it. This is a really cheesy smile for the camera though.

On a side note, HD is going to be in Boise for a MONTH, so I will be posting a lot while he's gone so that he can stay up to date on what's going on with us. I love you babe!

Sorry guys

It was just brought to my attention by Kelly that I haven't written a post about what I'm having. It's going to be another girl! Poor HD is going to be "surrounded by estrogen" as he's said many times, but it'll be okay. They'll just have to play softball or something so he can be a coach. They'll also have to deal with `things like wearing baby camo overalls. Oh, and having one of thier first words be "touchdown" and learning how to headbutt people. Baylee, at least, is very into headbutting things and people and watching sports with dad. I do love how much of a daddy's girl she is though. It should be fun for Baylee to have a little sister to play with. Anyways, for all of you who didn't know, that's what's going on. I'm sorry I didn't post about it sooner, I guess I just didn't think about it.

sleeping and big overalls

Baylee was trying to stay awake to see dad when he came home the other night, but she didn't quite make it, and HD took a picture of her sleeping on the livingroom floor when he got home. It was pretty cute.
A friend of mine in our ward gave me some clothes for Baylee when she gets a little bigger. They're all size 2T and up, so it'll be a while before they fit, but today she brought these overalls to me and insisted that I put them on her. Needless to say, they're a little to big :) I thought she looked really cute though.

Baylee today

Here's Baylee cuddling with daddy when he got home from work today. I thought it was so cute. HD was pretty tired.. he's still sleeping now :)
Baylee likes to put our clothes on her. This is HD's shirt being worn like a cape. She also likes to put shorts on her head.

Baylee pictures

Sorry. I've gotten behind on posting pictures of Baylee, so here are a few that I've taken over the past 2 weeks. This is Baylee trying to get the camera from me.
This is when I wouldn't let her have it.. :)
Baylee decided that she had to walk with a cup on her foot.
Posing for the camera
She's really good at smiling on demand, unlike HD and I :)

a week without HD

So, as most of you know, HD has been in Boise all week training for his new job. I guess I'm just a big baby but it's been kind of hard for me. Baylee's been missing him too. If I don't let her hear his voice on speaker when he calls, she'll grab the phone from me and try to figure out how to talk to him, and then when it doesn't work she'll get frusturated, throw the phone and cry, and then I have to call him back so she can "talk" to him. She's a smart little girl. Today she actually hit redial (I think by accident) after I talked to him and then she got to have a turn to say hi. She doesn't usually say anything she just smiles at the phone and holds it really close to her face. She's also been really clingy this week. Normally, she won't let me hold her for more than a few minutes and then she wants to run off and play but this week she hasn't been letting me put her down. Today was especially hard for her because she had a doctor's appointment and got 6 shots in her legs. She was pretty tough about it but I could tell that it was bothering her today. She falls asleep in my lap and gives me a lots of kisses (the really slobbery kind) which is cute but kinda sad at the same time. The most difficult thing for me has been just sleeping when HD's not here. Poor Baylee has been stuck sleeping with me all week because I just can't sleep by myself anymore. I think I'm going to have a hard time when he's gone for a month. Although, not having HD around has made me realize all the things I love about him being here. I don't want to go into it too much because I know it'll just be too cheesy and lovey for everyone but I definitly realize how much I love HD when he's not here. The carpet definitly gets vacuumed a lot more when he's home :) He has a bit of a fettish with that. I also even miss watching ESPN with him all the time, and how cute it is when he plays with Baylee. I don't know. I'm and emotional wreck though. On Sunday at church I ended up passing out right when the relief society president came over to see how I was doing. Luckliy she caught me, but it was pretty embarrassing sitting there in the hall on the floor in my dress with a bunch of people asking if I'm okay. But because of that the relief society president has been sending people in our ward to my house every day to check on me. I definitly don't mind the company and they always seem to bring fruits and veggies from their gardens. There are a lot of really sweet people in my ward. One of my neighbors who goes to the student ward has been SSSOOO much help to me this week. Her name is Mary. She has a daughter Emily who is about 6 months older than Baylee and they have been coming over to visit me every day this week too. We went to the library and got some kids books on wednesday and baylee's been having a lot of fun with those. She also made me dinner a couple of times, she goes walking with me in the mornings and she even watched Baylee for me a couple of times, once because she could tell how tired I was and insisted that I take a nap, and another time when I was having a bad pass-out morning. It's wonderful having such good friends around me. Even though HD leaving for a week isn't that big of a deal as I think it is, my ward and my friends have definilty made it easier on me. Anyways, that's just some stuff I've been thinking about this week, but now I am definitly tired so I'll go get Baylee and go to bed.
