Championship!

It took an over time but in the end we came out on top. We had some problems on D this game in the second half with our other corner. They throw it to that side for yards any time they wanted. That made me a little mad. Then in the OT it took them 2 plays to get it in. And it came down to a fourth for us twice. To say the least it made me a little nervous when we went for the two point instead of the PAT. But with a fumble in the end zone and a lot of luck we came out on top. It reminded me of the "holy roller" in I think 78 or 79 with the raiders. The only thing is we did it on accident.

Time

For the 3rd time in 4 years we are going to the Championship game! This time we will have home field advantage. That will be nice not having to go anywhere. Or should I say spend $ on gas 4.10$ per gallon here, that sucks. It might be even more where you live, but I am poor. But anyways It should be a good game. The last time we played this team we beat them 78-6 I think but it looks like they have a bunch of guys that we didn't see two years ago. And I guess they can't be that bad now, if they are in the championship game. We will see what happens hopefully we can win one this time! Diego Neighbor Story (for Kay)

So the other day I was taking Diego out to the bathroom, and he started barking and chasing after some hispanic neighbors that live a couple of doors down from us. I got mad and yelled, "Diego! Come here now!" or something to that extent, and then I kept walking with Diego to the "potty spot." Then for some reason one of the hispanic guys started walking towards me. His friends pulled up in their suv near me like they were waiting for him so I was getting pretty nervous. This guy walked right up to me and said, "Ummm... cute dog. What's his name?" I told him and then he started smiling really big and kind of laughing, and I was worried that he was offended that we gave our dog an hispanic name so I began explaining that my husband had gone on a mission to Mexico and he liked the name Diego..... stuff like that. Then he said, "Oh, you go to church? Where?" I pointed in the direction of our stake center and he said "Oh cool. We'll see you later." Got into his friends car and drove off. I thought WIERD!!!! It kind of creeped me out so I went in to tell HD what had happened and he just busted up laughing. He asked me if the guy that came up to talk to me was the really short one, and he was. Then he told me that he had met them the other day and that that guy's name was Diego. So needless to say I feld kind of embarrassed... But that explained why he had come to talk to me :) There ya go!

Weekend

Baylee has recently discovered how to unravel the toilet paper. I am SSSOOO excited! On Sunday after going to dinner at some friends' house HD, Baylee, Diego, and I all went for a walk at the park, and decided to sit in the grass for a while.

This is how Baylee sleeps. I just think that it's really cute, but I would think that her legs would fall asleep. At least mine would! Baylee and I went to the splash park! She's getting use to the water but she won't go near it unless I'm holding her. We definitly had a lot of fun though.

The whole walking thing has not been too kind to baylee so far. She thinks that she can run and play with the other kids that come over and at church but it still doesn't work all that well. The sad thing is she is so happy until her face hits something. So just because this picture is so sad I put one on here of her face before an accident also.

Baylee and Tanner

We watched Tanner today for Nate and Kelly for a while. We took him to Gandolfos with us and then we watched the Teton Dam Marathon (the finish line is right outside of our apartments) and the air show was also going on so we were able to watch some pretty cool planes fly by. Baylee and Tanner are pretty good at playing together now. Baylee just follows him all over the place. Sorry. The picture is kind of wierd because I couldn't get them to stop moving :)

So thank you so much Kristin! We got it in the mail yesterday I guess but I forgot to check the mail so I found it in there today. It fits perfectly! You know, when Baylee grows out of it Sierra will probably be able to wear it..... :) Anyways thank you again, and also thanks for putting the family pictures on a cd for us! That'll make things a lot easier for me.

Sales

So, I had some sales on Friday... :) I had 8 sales in one day! The most I had in one day before that was 3. I was SSSSOOO excited! So, there ya go. All of the sales managers applauded me when I walked in on Saturday which was kinda wierd and the head supervisor told me that I was an animal or something like that, but I honestly don't know what I did. I just ended up talkling to a lot of people.. So there ya go!
Plus, yesterday we had Nate and Kelly over for dinner and we had ribs. HD put me in charge of grilling them and I wasn't aware of the fact that I was supposed to turn the grill temp down, so needless to say they cought on fire. I also had set the oven mits on top of the grill.... they set on fire too :) So I was a bit embarrassed. Nate and Kelly were really nice about it but at one point Kelly said, "I have a piece of charcoal stuck in my teeth." She tried to fix it but it was too late! HD and I just laughed. My rice krispy treats turned out okay though. I think they could have used more marshmallows, but it was my first try and I used the recipe on the box... Oh well! We had fun. Baylee spent the evening crawling after Tanner which was really cute. They're not very good at sharing though... :)

Mesa Falls

See, it's so beautiful... there are beautiful places in Idaho it turns out! However, you have to pay $5 to see it and this is as close as you can get... but still! We decided to go visit Mesa Falls before HD's football game on Saturday. It was near the highschool they were playing at so we figured why not? HD won the game 9-6. Go Lionz!
Oh. Here is Baylee eating her FIRST waffle! She was so excited. She's to the point now that if we're eating something, she needs to be eating it too.
